York Region District School Board is seeking Proposals for Grass Cutting Services. The objective of this proposal is to establish a contractual relationship with Vendor(s) for Grass Cutting Services on an as-required basis. This relationship will allow the Board to ensure that we are purchasing quality service at a competitive price, while improving management reporting and reducing material and administrative costs. The Board is requiring a flat-rate seasonal arrangement and per cut arrangement, with grass cutting performed in accordance with the guidelines stipulated in this Request for Proposal.

The Board spends approximately $460, 000.00 per year for grass cutting services.  This is an estimate only and should not be construed as a guarantee; rather it is shown to provide an indication of the potential of this Contract. 

There are approximately 235 locations in the York Region District School Board. For the purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP), the Board has been divided into twenty-four (24) geographical areas. Contractors do not have to bid on all areas but must provide a complete bid on an area.

Proponents are hereby invited to propose the lowest net prices, including all delivery charges for which the Proponent is prepared to furnish the grass cutting services requested herein, in accordance with the guidelines expressed in the enclosed document.
