York Region District School Board is seeking Proposals for the Supply, Installation and Maintenance Service of Shade Umbrellas. The objective of this proposal is to establish a contractual relationship with a Vendor or Vendors that will assist the Board obtain pricing on an as-required basis. This relationship will allow the Board to ensure that we are purchasing quality service at a competitive price, while improving management reporting and reducing material and administrative costs.

There are approximately 184 elementary school locations with existing shade umbrellas in the York Region District School Board. Any new schools may require approximately two (2) shade umbrellas. Some schools may require additional umbrellas, Service/Repair and new canopies. This is an estimate only and should not be construed as a guarantee; rather it is shown to provide an indication of the potential of this Contract. 

Proponents are hereby invited to bid the lowest net prices, including all delivery charges for which the Proponent is prepared to furnish the goods requested herein, in accordance with the guidelines expressed in the enclosed document.
